Making Progress

There is still work to be done but I have definitely made progress in my quest to get rid of stuff we don't use or need. We have made 4 trips to the Goodwill donation center this month with 6 to 10 boxes of 'stuff' each time and a ping-pong table. We have also thrown away almost as much stuff. There are still a few things that I want to clear out but at this point, a lot of the work that remains is just organizing and positioning the remaining 'stuff'. I am making progress though so that is good.

Sarah and I have been busy making plans for the Crimson Cactus for this year as well and have been ordering in new supplies. Our new threads came this week so we are crocheting our necklaces like crazy to get the new spring and summer colors finished and on the website. There are some really awesome colors! We will also be pouring candles this month and may be adding a few seasonal scents. It is always exciting to work on new projects! I hope when it is time for you to buy gifts or even just something new for yourself, you will think of us and check out our site, www.crimsoncactus.com. There is a link in the sidebar on this page. We have some great products and we make every one of them ourselves!

My flowers that I planted earlier this month are all doing wonderful and our veggie garden is starting to take off. I actually have one ripe tomato that is ready to pick but I'm going to save it for Allen to pick when he gets home from work today! :) The Texas roadsides are gorgeous right now with loads of wildflowers and bluebonnets. Last year was so dry that there weren't many out but we have had plenty of rain this winter and spring and the flowers seem to be exploding along the roadways! Just beautiful!

Gotta scoot for now and get back to crocheting necklaces! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
