Wow! Hard to believe another year is nearly over. This has been a very trying year for everyone. The doctors and nurses kept telling me that things would only continue to get worse for my Mom but they didn't say it would happen so fast. She has been on the decline all year but the last 5 months everything took a major nose dive. It has been so hard to see her like this but even worse because there is nothing we can do. The doctors say she can continue to decline or level off at any point and could live a long time in this state. It is very depressing to watch.
We have certainly had a very busy year. Allen changed jobs...selling the same product just a different company. So far, he is really enjoying the new job but he is working the Austin territory so at some point we will probably be re-locating closer to or into Austin. Sarah and I have had a very busy year with the Crimson Cactus. Business has been good and we are looking forward to an even better year in 2013. With our work and trying to see that Mom is taken care of, there hasn't been much time for anything else. Overall, this past year has just had one depressing event after another but we have all made it through so that is good. I am hoping that 2013 will be a much happier year!
