A light?

Sorry I haven't posted here the last couple of months. This time has been spent locating and getting my mother placed in a care facility. It has been a really hard time for all of us. She needs far more care and attention than we as a family can provide for her and with this disease things will only continue to get worse. Now she can get all of her medications as needed and on time, three nutritious meals a day, both physical and mental therapy and she is in a clean and safe environment. She seems to be adapting as well as possible. I am still having to work on my dad...he doesn't want to let go of his control of Mom. Since her memory is stuck in a time when they were divorced, his all day visits are not helping her at all. I am trying to convince him to only stay for an hour or less but so far that hasn't worked. In spite of this, she is adjusting. It has certainly taken a toll on our daily lives, though, as we have had to make numerous trips to the facility to resolve issues that have arisen. In addition to these time restraints, I am staying quite busy with shows and orders for Crimson Cactus. Thank goodness Sarah has taken control of most of the online orders. I am still making and customizing ceramic orders but she has been handling the necklaces and the shipping for me. She has also made numerous trips to see Mom and handle things when I couldn't get there. Hopefully, things will continue to get better. At least I feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
